Looking for some delicious recipes using an aluminum roasting pan? Look no further! In this article, I will share some of my personal and all time favourite recipes that are perfect for the holiday. From roasted turkey to maple glazed ham, I got you covered. 

Festive occasions always call for fancier dishes, so busy moms and dads need to slow down and bring out their Jamie Oliver skills.

The family get-togethers need some drool worthy fair so, you got to bring your A-game especially when your mom and mom-in-law are on the guest list. Get out your aluminum roasting pan and get cooking!

Note: portions are for about 4-6 people and the oven temp is in Fahrenheit.

Roasted Turkey Roasting Pan Recipe

A nicely roasted turkey with vegetables using an aluminum roasting pan.

Ingredients

  • 1x turkey (10-12 pounds)
  • 1tbsp x rosemary
  • 1tbsp x thyme
  • 3 x garlic cloves
  • 50ml x olive oil
  • sea salt and ground black pepper
  • optional: a dash of red wine – on the turkey not just your wine glass

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees
  2. Place the turkey in the aluminum roasting pan
  3. Sprinkle with rosemary, thyme, garlic cloves, salt and pepper
  4. Drizzle with olive oil  (& wine)
  5. Massage herbs into the turkey the place in oven
  6. Roast in the oven for about two hours or until the turkey is cooked through.

Maple Glazed Ham Recipe

Perfectly cooked maple glazed ham recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1 x ham serving
  • 50ml x maple syrup or honey (optional: mix in a tsp of chutney)
  • 1tbsp x Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp x rosemary leaves
  • 1 tsp x thyme leaves

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Place the ham in the roasting pan
  3. In a small bowl, mix together maple syrup, Dijon mustard, rosemary leaves and thyme leaves
  4. Pour over the ham
  5. Roast in the oven for about 30 minutes or until heated through.

Mac & Cheese: Recipes Using Aluminum Roasting Pan

Delicious mac & cheese as one of the recipes using an aluminum roasting pan.

Ingredients

  • 1 packet (500g) x macaroni noodles
  • 2 tbsp. x canola oil
  • 3 tbsp. x flour
  • 1 litre x milk
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 block x cheddar cheese
  • 1 block x gouda cheese
  • 1 block parmesan cheese
  • 1sp x smokey paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Cook the macaroni noodles according to package directions
  3. In a large saucepan pour your oil and put stove on medium heat
  4. Stir in the flour
  5. Slowly add milk 50ml at a time while whisking making sure the creamy sauce remains smooth
  6. Cook until the mixture is thick and bubbly
  7. Stir in the cheddar and gouda cheese until melted (leave a few shaving of cheese for completed dish)
  8. To the aluminum roasting dish, add in the cooked and rinsed macaroni noodles
  9. Add parmesan to macaroni and mix
  10. Now add the cheese sauce and mix until well coated
  11. Top the dish with left over grated cheese and sprinkle the paprika over cheese
  12. Bake for about 20 minutes or until cheese on top is melted

Roasted Brussels Sprouts Recipe

Lovely roasted brussels sprouts recipe prepared using an aluminum pan.

Ingredients

  • 24 x brussels sprouts
  • 25ml x olive oil
  • sea salt and black pepper to taste
  • optional extra: add bacon & maple syrup for a yummy alternative

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  2. Place the brussels sprouts (#bacon) in the aluminium roasting pan
  3. Drizzle with olive oil (#maple syrup) and sprinkle with salt and pepper
  4. Roast in the oven for about 20 minutes or until tender

Note: while it may be easier to do this recipe in a microwave oven, it is advisable not to use aluminum in a microwave.

Roasted Sweet Potatoes Recipe

Soft and perfectly cooked roasted sweet potatoes recipe.

Ingredients

  • 4 x sweet potatoes
  • 50ml x olive oil
  • sea salt and black pepper to taste
  • generous sprinkles of chives
  • bits of bacon or shavings of parmesan is a tasty optional add

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  2. Place the sweet potatoes (bacon bits) in the roasting pan
  3. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with chives, salt & pepper (parmesan)
  4. Roast in the oven for about 30 minutes or until tender.

Roasted Carrots: Recipes Using An Aluminum Roasting Pan

Nice and tenderly roasted carrots using an aluminum pan.

Ingredients

  • 4 x medium carrots
  • 25ml x olive oil
  • 2 tsp x herbs (thyme + organum)
  • 2 pinches of cayenne pepper
  • sea salt to taste
  • dash of cinnamon as optional extra

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  2. Place the carrots in the roasting pan
  3. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with herbs, salt & pepper (cinnamon)
  4. Roast in the oven for about 20 minutes or until tender.

Roasted Cauliflower Pan Recipe

Soft roasted cauliflower prepared in an aluminum pan.

Ingredients

  • 300g x cauliflower florets
  • 25ml x olive oil
  • bunch spring onion, shredded or chopped
  • sea salt and black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  2. Place the cauliflower and onions in the roasting pan
  3. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper
  4. Roast in the oven for about 25 minutes or until tender

Roasted Squash Aluminum Roasting Pan Recipe

Creamy roasted squash with butter prepared using an aluminum dish.

Ingredients

  • 4x whole squash
  • dollops of butter
  • 1 can x sweetcorn
  • pepper to taste
  • 1 cup x grated cheese (gouda or cheddar will work)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  2. Cut the squash in halves (scoop seeds out neatly) and place in the roasting pan
  3. Open the sweetcorn and scoop generous portions into squash halves
  4. Sprinkle each squash with cheese and a bit of pepper
  5. Add dollops of butter on each then slide into oven
  6. Roast in the oven for about 30 minutes or until tender
